Preface of Class Struggles in the USSR

Charles Bettelheim wrote this essay as the preface of his book Class Struggles in the USSR. It was written in 1974 and the English translation of the first volume of book was published in 1976 by the Monthly Review Press. We are publishing this essay separately as we believe it will help in understanding the real causes of the capitalist restoration in the USSR and will arouse the reader’s interest for a deeper study about problems of socialist construction and capitalist restoration. — Rahul Foundation
